Doing what you LOVE...

Do you do what you love? If so, you're one of the few. If you can combine one of the special talents or gifts you've been given with your vocation- you are lucky indeed. I'm working on combining the two. Isn't that what's it's all about? Cultivating the best version of yourself? I want to do what I love. This blog is part of it- but there is more too! (I'll keep you posted). If you do what you love, comment at the bottom of this post. Tell us what you do and what gift or talent have you been given that contributes to this job.

"Use what talent you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang- except for those that sang best." ~Henry Van Dyke

"Everybody should look inside themselves for the thing they can do well and they'll be amazed at the happiness they discover." ~ Toby Reynolds

"Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." ~ Confucious

  1. Yes! I stayed home with my kids until my youngest started kindergarten and now I manage my husband's medical practice. I'm able to see my husband during the day and have lunch with him, can work from home whenever I need to, and am always home when the kids get home from school and when they have breaks. The best of ALL worlds :-).

  5. I spent years Working in a profession that I hated only because I was good at what I did and made a decent living. Just because you're good at something doesn't mean it makes you happy. When My job started to affect my health I knew it was time to make some DRASTIC Changes.
Now I work in Radio Broadcasting and I love it. I did radio in college but never thought of it as a career until my last job about killed me (literally). Granted I don't make anywhere near what I did before, but not all money is good money. My Life, My Family OUR Happiness must come first.
